Starting this Sunday we’re exploring the idea that God is
both our Father and our King! Often times both individuals and
communities will drift into emphasizing either one or the other. However,
to live in the fullest expression of what it means to be the people of God, we need
to hang on to both! We must always hang on the reality that OUR FATHER IS
KING!
So why am I telling you this? Simply because you are
invited. We’ll be exploring this for the next two months (which amounts
to six Sundays as we join the main service on the last Sunday of each
month). We just thought that the kingship and fatherhood of God are great
topics of conversation for families who are doing discipleship together!
So…feel free to join us this Sunday, or any of the other
Sunday’s after that. You may want to clear it with your kid(s) first
though..haha!
