Impact is experiencing a taste of hunger

while raising money for Hungry Children through

on Saturday, February 22nd to Sunday, February 23rd. Impact students will be meeting @ Hope Center @ 11am to participate in a can drive, but our fast officially begins at 7am. 

 

We are encouraging our students to wake up &

have a healthy breakfast between 7am & 9am. 

The point of the fast for our students, especially Junior Highers

is to experience hunger while they raise awareness in themselves

and their communities for World Hunger. 

There will be juices available at the church and light foods

for students that find this too difficult. 

 

Unique to Impact students is that we will be doing a can drive

in our neighborhoods & church to raise money for World Vision. 

There are flyers for students to hand out to their neighbors

(as we will be driving around to pick up cans on Sat., Feb. 22nd).

 

 

 

We Have A Goal of 1,000 Cans!

 

 

Please ask your family & friends to begin saving their cans now!

You can bring these crushed cans to the Impact Can Drive barrel in the Generations Room on any Wednesday or Sunday between now & Feb. 22nd.

Break-the-Fast!

YOU'RE INVITED!

Starting this Sunday we’re exploring the idea that God is both our Father and our King!  Often times both individuals and communities will drift into emphasizing either one or the other.  However, to live in the fullest expression of what it means to be the people of God, we need to hang on to both!  We must always hang on the reality that OUR FATHER IS KING! 

So why am I telling you this?  Simply because you are invited.  We’ll be exploring this for the next two months (which amounts to six Sundays as we join the main service on the last Sunday of each month).  We just thought that the kingship and fatherhood of God are great topics of conversation for families who are doing discipleship together! 

So…feel free to join us this Sunday, or any of the other Sunday’s after that.  You may want to clear it with your kid(s) first though..haha!
